Video chat with strangers from the countries you choose
Our country filter lets you decide who you meet. Talk only with people from Brazil to practise Portuguese, only with neighbours from your own country, or with everyone except a few places.

How the country filter works
Open Countries under your webcam and choose one of three modes:
- Everyone — the whole world, the fastest way to get a match.
- Only these countries — you are matched exclusively with people connecting from the countries you tick.
- Everyone except these countries — skip the countries you are not interested in.
Fair for both sides
The filter is mutual: you are only paired with someone if your filter accepts their country and their filter accepts yours. The country is detected from the network connection, so a person using a VPN appears in the VPN's country. The list shows how many people are online from each country right now, so you can see where the conversation is.

Frequently asked questions
Why am I waiting longer with a filter?
A narrow filter means fewer people match — and they must accept your country too. Add more countries or switch back to Everyone for faster matches.
Can I change the filter during a chat?
Yes. The new filter applies from your next match.
